Summer has always been my favorite season. When I think of summer, I have a rush of good memories &mdash; from the endless playtime with my sister and long road trips with our parents in our childhood, to hours of long lazy beach days in my twenties&nbsp; (back when I thought tanning without sun protection was so cool!), and now, discovering new places and making beautiful memories with my husband and our kids well into my thirties. Summer, for me, has always been synonymous with traveling &mdash; seeing the world and what it has to offer. I get so excited just thinking about it.
If I were to describe my dream summer now, I&rsquo;d use the words &ldquo;carefree&rdquo; and &ldquo;easy&rdquo; the most. I&rsquo;ve always loved the freedom of walking around the streets of a new city &mdash; I admittedly enjoy the peace it brings. I love discovering cute caf&eacute;s, especially since I&rsquo;m such a sucker for pastries and coffee. Aside from clothes, I&rsquo;m also easily sucked into shopping for trinkets, anik-anik if you will, as someone who is a self-confessed memory hoarder. I travel so often for work, and I&rsquo;m very grateful, but those travels are really dedicated to work &mdash; fittings, meetings, shoots, and the list goes on. Though I want to see more of the places I go to, the hectic schedules usually stop me from doing so.

My vacations always start with planning ahead. I&rsquo;ll make a mental list of my outfits, accessories, and everything I need to feel ready for my trip and because I&rsquo;m already a very responsible girl, that includes my budget.
