Board-certified dermatologist Dr. Aivee Aguilar-Teo tells L&rsquo;Officiel Philippines about her expansive pursuits within beauty technology in our Summer 2022 issue.

Beauty has always been limitless&mdash;going beyond skincare regimens and makeup products. Moreso in this day and age, beauty doesn&rsquo;t shy away from potential and innovative technologies to enhance lifestyle and wellness. And constantly raising the bar for newness in beauty is board-certified dermatologist Dr. Aivee Aguilar-Teo.&nbsp;
In L&rsquo;Officiel Philippines&rsquo; Summer 2022 issue, the beauty doctor recounted her journey towards building the empire that is currently the Aivee Clinic. What is now dubbed as the go-to center for the latest beauty technologies and treatments started in 2009 shortly after Dr. Aivee opened a clinic in partnership with another dermatologist in BGC. Aesthetics and cosmetic dermatology soon became the trademark of Dr. Aivee&rsquo;s practice&ndash;garnering referrals, as patients trickled into her clinic. However, she had to expand her space. That was when she found the first Aivee clinic in Burgos Circle.&nbsp;

But the Aivee Clinic has only become more widespread since then. The French boudoir-esque clinic had patients upon patients. They admired both the quality treatments they received, as well as the stunning interiors of the not-so-clinical clinic. Dr. Aivee opened her second clinic in Alabang, and the third in Mega Fashion Hall. But, her endeavors did not stop there. She opened a surgical center&ndash;the Institute&ndash;for procedures such as hair transplant, rhinoplasty, tummy tuck, and liposuction. Heading towards the North, Aivee Clinic Vertis was established. With her husband, Dr. Z Teo, Dr. Aivee&rsquo;s empire made it all the way to Singapore in Paragon.

On top of the 6 clinic branches, Dr. Aivee introduced Aivee Skin two years ago during the pandemic with their very own skincare line, tools, and beauty gadgets. And for the fur babies, Luxuri Pets (by Aivee) offers only the best treats and needs for pets.
With all the new heights that the Aivee Clinic reached, it comes to no surprise that Dr. Aivee finds immense pride in knowing that the treatments provided are available in the Philippines. When it came to how people oftentimes see the Philippines as lacking in comparison to other countries, Dr. Aivee shared, &ldquo;Definitely, we're at par in terms of technology with all the other countries. In fact, sometimes we have it ahead of other countries. We're proud of that.&rdquo;
