Educated in the fine arts, compelled by how makeup artist Pat McGrath elevated makeup as an art, and mentored by top celebrity makeup artist Jigs Mayuga, Bueno has since gone on to help shape a distinct Filipino beauty aesthetic with her signature bronzy glow that warms up all skin tones with a natural radiance including and especially </span><span>morenas</span><span>. Bueno&rsquo;s work, spotted on some of the country&rsquo;s most beautiful &mdash; notably longtime muse, actress Janine Gutierrez &mdash; has since helped empower a new generation of Filipinas to embrace the skin they&rsquo;re born in. <p><span>Photographer Shaira Luna is best known for capturing an atmospheric, emotional quality in her editorial and portraiture work, but she also creates it. &ldquo;I love seeing how the world moves and not everyone is the type to take that in,&rdquo; she says. &ldquo;I love showing people what the memories were.&rdquo;</span></p>
<p><span>How does she do it? She explains, &ldquo;I think in categories. When I think about fashion, I can see corresponding beauty looks and a vibe. I see things in photographs already. I&rsquo;m very much into pop culture. That&rsquo;s the relation of fashion and beauty, and each era is a time capsule.&rdquo;</span></p>
<p><span>Early on, she knew the power fragrances held in recreating these fleeting moments and stirring up emotions old and new. Her grandmother, a fragrance head herself, gifted her a perfume with every visit.
