Jaguar marks a dramatic turning point with the introduction of the Type 00. Designed to inspire future creations, the concept car embodies Jaguar&rsquo;s new creative philosophy of exuberant modernism. Having announced a radical transformation as an all-electric manufacturer, Jaguar reaffirms its original mantra:&nbsp;Copy Nothing.

Unconventional design for a new era

The&nbsp;Type 00&nbsp;is unlike any other electric car. With its long bonnet, sweeping roofline, fastback profile, and imposing 23-inch wheels, its brutal proportions push the boundaries of automotive design.&nbsp;&ldquo;The Type 00 commands attention, like all the best Jaguars before it,&rdquo;&nbsp;said Constantino Segui Gilabert,&nbsp;Jaguar&rsquo;s Chief Exterior Designer.&nbsp;&ldquo;It celebrates art and embodies the essence of British creativity.&rdquo; At the heart of this stylistic revolution, the Jaguar Electrical Architecture (JEA) plays a key role, providing a dedicated platform to explore new silhouettes.&nbsp;"We started from scratch to design this unique architecture. It is the cornerstone of our future,"&nbsp;explains Adrian Mardell, CEO of JLR.

A vibrant tribute to Jaguar heritage

By naming this model&nbsp;Type 00, Jaguar&nbsp;is&nbsp;nodding to its icons of the past, notably the legendary E-Type. But beyond the name, the very spirit of&nbsp;<a href="https://www.instagram.com/jaguar/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Jaguar</a> resurfaces. "It is the wonder of the first Jaguars that we want to recreate. With the Type 00, we are returning to our DNA: audacity, art, and intense emotions,"&nbsp;confides Rawdon Glover, Managing Director of the brand. The bold hues, Miami Pink and London Blue, illustrate this duality between heritage and modernity. The pastel pink evokes the Art Deco hues of Miami, while the silver blue pays homage to the iconic colors of&nbsp;Jaguars&nbsp;from the 1960s.

The innovation doesn&rsquo;t stop on the outside. Inside,&nbsp;Jaguar&nbsp;is focusing on rare and unexpected materials like travertine and polished brass. Mary Crisp, Chief Materiality Designer, explains:&nbsp;&ldquo;Our materials are crafted like works of art. The idea is to engage all the senses to create an immersive and unique experience.&rdquo; The&nbsp;Type 00&nbsp;also offers advanced customization thanks to the Prism system. Three totems&mdash;brass, travertine, and alabaster&mdash;allow you to modulate the ambiance of the cabin, influencing the lighting, sound,s and even the scents diffused.

It is in the vibrant setting of&nbsp;<a href="https://www.miamiartweek.org/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Miami Art Week</a>&nbsp;that&nbsp;Jaguar&nbsp;has chosen to unveil this artistic manifesto. A decision far from insignificant, according to Rawdon Glover:&nbsp;"Art, culture and creativity are at the heart of what Jaguar represents. Our presence here celebrates this deep connection with our customers." Jaguar&nbsp;took advantage of this event to announce an exclusive boutique in Paris, planned in the Golden Triangle, and the presentation, in 2025, of a four-door electric GT capable of traveling up to 770 km with a quick charge in 15 minutes.

With the&nbsp;Type 00, Jaguar&nbsp;is not just designing a car: it is proposing an&nbsp;artistic and futuristic vision of the automobile. By breaking free from convention, the British brand is rediscovering its&nbsp;legendary audacity&nbsp;and laying the foundations for a new era, where&nbsp;technology and art are one. As Gerry McGovern, Jaguar's Chief Creative Officer, perfectly sums it up:&nbsp;"The Type 00 is much more than a car. It is the first stone of a future where every Jaguar will be a work of art on wheels."
