The British singer looks regal ahead of her debut and highly anticipated performance during the ceremony.

Raye arrived at the&nbsp;<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/celebrities-red-carpet-oscars-academy-awards-2025">2025 Academy Awards</a>, and she&rsquo;s usually hard to miss, and that was as true as ever on Sunday night.&nbsp;For her Oscars debut, the British singer chose a fiery red, floor-sweeping&nbsp;<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/tags/viviennewestwood">Vivienne Westwood</a>&nbsp;gown that perfectly complemented the carpet.
Styled by&nbsp;<a href="https://www.instagram.com/enied/?hl=en">Eniola Dare</a>, the dress features a dramatic cowl neckline, a corseted bodice, and elegant draping that accentuates her curves. Its off-the-shoulder design framed her upper body on the red carpet, while a diamond ruby teardrop necklace and a sparkling diamond bracelet added the finishing touch. Her look draws comparisons to the red-hot ensemble&nbsp;<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/taylor-swift-vivienne-westwood-leg-charm-outfit-grammys-2025">Taylor Swift wore to the 2025 Grammys</a>&nbsp;last month. But Raye's gown, with its longer length, channels something a bit more Old Hollywood than Swift's mini dress.
Raye is having a breakthrough year&mdash;and for good reason. She earned three&nbsp;<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/grammy-awards-nominations-2025-pop-artists-lead">Grammy nominations</a>, including Best New Artist, Songwriter of the Year (Non-Classical), and Best Engineered Album (Non-Classical). Her electrifying performance at the ceremony brought the audience to their feet. Just yesterday, she took home the&nbsp;<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/the-best-dressed-celebrities-at-the-2025-brit-awards-red-carpet-charli-xcx">BRIT Award</a>&nbsp;for Best R&amp;B Act, marking her seventh overall win and second in the category. Beyond her own music, Raye has penned hits for fellow Brits&nbsp;<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/charli-xcx-naked-dress-2025-brit-awards-red-carpet-sheer-dress">Charli XCX</a>&nbsp;and Little Mix, as well as John Legend and&nbsp;<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/music/beyonce-schiaparelli-dress-wardrobe-malfunction-country-album-win-grammys-2025">Beyonc&eacute;</a>, contributing to the latter&rsquo;s Grammy-winning album&nbsp;Cowboy Carter.

In lieu of performances by those in the running for Best Original Song, Raye is set to take the stage at the ceremony for the first time. She&rsquo;ll be performing alongside Blackpink&rsquo;s Lisa and Doja Cat, with the former making history as the first K-pop act to perform at the Academy Awards.&nbsp;Wicked&nbsp;co-stars Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo are expected to open the show, with Queen Latifah also in the performance lineup. All performers will &ldquo;participate in showstopping performances celebrating the filmmaking community and some of its legends,&rdquo; as per the Academy in a&nbsp;<a href="https://press.oscars.org/news/doja-cat-cynthia-erivo-ariana-grande-lisa-blackpink-queen-latifah-and-raye-perform-97th">press release</a>.&nbsp;
And if Raye&rsquo;s previous performances are any indication, this will be one of her best yet.
