Asics Unveils Exciting Collaborations at Paris Fashion Week
The brand reimagined the boundaries of lifestyle fashion and sportswear in its exclusive Fashion Week pop-up.
Paris Fashion Week is a time for brands and designers to showcase their creativity and talent. ASICS displayed its artistry with the SportStyle collection during a Paris Fashion Week pop-up, reimagining the boundaries of lifestyle fashion and sportswear through collaborations with Cecilie Bahnsen, Kengo Kuma, Doublet, and Up There.
The collaborations showcased innovations such as ASICS' first-ever women’s model of the GEL-QUANTUM 360™ VIII, reflecting Cecilie Bahnsen’s feminine vision of everyday couture. The sandal-style sneaker features a revamped GEL-QUANTUM 360™ VIII tooling, offering improved comfort with DIVISION SPACE™ technology.
Inspired by celebrated architect Kengo Kuma’s philosophy of blending nature, technology, and humanity, ASICS introduced the Archisite ORU™ sneaker, featuring a folding upper reminiscent of origami.
Teaming up with Doublet, ASICS drew inspiration from Lewis Carroll’s word puzzles for the upcoming GEL-KAYANO™ 20 collaboration sneaker and customized GEL-NIMBUS™ 10.1 models, featuring a blend of textures and materials, and color-changing material exclusively for the GEL-KAYANO™ 20.
Also working with Up There, ASICS explored the intersection of natural and artificial worlds through the GEL-TERRAIN™ sneaker and accompanying apparel line. The collaboration blurred the line between living and inanimate by showcasing the striking differences between organic and synthetic materials, and “creatures” made from recycled materials.
Filipino celebrities James Reid, Issa Pressman, and LA Aguinaldo also appeared at the events, showcasing ASICS' Autumn Winter 2025 collection and the different collaborations.
