While Ayala Triangle Gardens has long been an oasis of good food finds nestled in between one of the busiest thoroughfares in the country, perhaps no other establishment in recent memory has been celebrated as grandly as the opening of Common Man Coffee Roasters, a Singapore-founded coffee roastery and all-day dining café. The excitement over its long-awaited launch is testament to how much Filipinos clamor for good, quality coffee.

In the launch, guests were ushered to the café’s in-house coffee roastery, where the café exclusively sources its fresh batch to serve customers daily. Guests were then led to the extensive coffee bar, where Filipino bartenders—who underwent weeks of training in Common Man Singapore—presented the café’s single origin brews and signature blends, which customers can choose from for their coffee orders. In the event, guests explored the café’s expertly crafted blends ranging from a plethora of profiles: from Jabanto’s fruity notes to the nutty blend of Wiang Pa Pao, both prepared using Common Man’s signature brew filter method.

On the table, Common Man Coffee Roasters select all-day dining favorites were presented for guests to sample: the loaded Common Man Full Breakfast gears to be an easy favorite for the working lot, as the plate consists of a cooked egg of your choice, on top of Common Mans signature artisanal sourdough bread, served with generous servings of meats and greens. The Not Your Common Pancakes is a perennial brunch favorite from Singapore to Manila, with wheat pancakes cooked in an iron cast skillet, topped caramelized bananas and caramelized walnut crumble, salted caramel sauce and berry coulis.

This award-winning dine-and-drink experience is housed in beautifully designed interiors, embracing the warmth of its chosen locale with wood, greens and airy windows as its most distinct features.
