At the Ramon Magsaysay Center, where brutalist architecture meets mid-century interiors, L'Officiel Hommes Philippines celebrated Filipino fashion. In this unique setting, we put a spotlight on standout brands and designers&mdash;Antonina, HANSEN, Jude Macasinag, and Kelvin Morales&mdash;each bringing their own distinct flair to the forefront of the fashion scene.
The center stands as an architectural marvel, situated at the intersection of Roxas Boulevard and Quintos Street in Malate. Erected and inaugurated in 1967, this imposing 18-storey structure was envisioned by Alfredo J. Luz and Associates, in collaboration with Italian-American Pietro Belluschi and Alfred Yee Associates. Honoring the legacy of Ramon Magsaysay, the 7th President of the Philippines, the center held the distinction of being the nation's tallest building from 1967 to 1968, until the completion of the Manila Pavilion Hotel.
As you navigate the concrete corridors of this iconic building, the spirit of Filipino creativity and innovation permeates the space. The stark lines and geometric shapes of the architecture serve as a fitting backdrop for the designs.
