The Formula 1 champion and French fashion house are teaming up to release an eco-friendly winter collection.

Dior has just announced that seven-time Formula 1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton is stepping into the fashion world as both ambassador and guest designer for an exclusive lifestyle capsule collection. The collaboration brings together Hamilton's dynamic spirit and Dior's storied craftsmanship.
&ldquo;We share a love of nature, a desire to celebrate Africa, and an interest in the artisanal processes and techniques that unite craftspeople in Africa with the savoir-faire of the Dior ateliers. Added to that, this collection also reflects Lewis&rsquo; sporting side, his virtuosity, and our functionality. All in all, the way things came together happened very organically&mdash;and enjoyably,&rdquo; said Kim Jones, Dior&rsquo;s Artistic Director.

Hamilton, known for his trailblazing success on the racetrack and commitment to eco-friendly practices, couldn't be more thrilled: &ldquo;Working with Kim and the talented team at Dior has been a dream, and I was honored when Kim asked if I&rsquo;d like to do this with him. The Dior x Lewis Hamilton capsule is all about celebrating winter sports, seamlessly combining high-performance outdoor gear with Dior&rsquo;s luxurious touch. The collection features everything from ready-to-wear pieces to footwear and accessories, all crafted with sustainability in mind. Organic and recycled materials take center stage, highlighting the commitment to eco-friendly fashion.
One of the standout features of this collaboration is the versatility of the pieces. Think&nbsp; stylish, voluminous silhouettes that allow for easy movement in technical skiwear, inspired by Japanese craftsmanship from Descente, and unique fabrics from Burkina Faso, as well as high-tech protective gear from Sweden, custom snowboards by Swiss Factory 9, and the Dior zipped backpack.
