IWC’s First Official Team Watch for Mercedes-AMG Petronas Hits the Track
Inspired by Formula 1 engineering, the watch pairs lightweight titanium with bold Petronas green.
In motorsport, precision matters—and that includes what’s on your wrist. IWC Schaffhausen marks another chapter in its partnership with the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team with the release of the new Pilot’s Watch Mark XX.
The 40mm case is made from grade 5 titanium, a material prized in motorsport for being lightweight and nearly indestructible. Sandblasted for a matte grey finish, it’s all about function without the fuss. While Petronas green details pop against the black dial, adding just the right amount of personality.
Inside, the watch runs on IWC’s 32111 calibre, which offers an impressive 120-hour power reserve. In practical terms, that means you can wear it for five days straight without worrying about winding it. No fancy complications here—just hours, minutes, seconds, and a date display.
The strap is where things get flexible. Made from Petronas green rubber, the watch with IWC’s EasX-CHANGE system which makes swapping straps quick. Water resistance up to 10 bar means it can handle more than just a splash.
The watch is more than just another collab—it’s the first official team watch since IWC and Mercedes-AMG Petronas teamed up in 2013. Worn by race engineers and strategists on the frontlines, it’s built to handle the intensity of motorsport.
