COS Teams Up with Kazuki Tabata for a Shibori-Inspired Capsule

COS announces its collaboration with Kazuki Tabata, the Kyoto-based artisan renowned for his mastery of the traditional Japanese resist-dyeing craft of shibori. This limited-edition collection brings together COS' clean, modern silhouettes while showcasing the intricate art of shibori through a 14-piece capsule collection.
The collaboration showcases mesmerizing shibori patterns in soft tones of blue, orange, and brown. Each garment is designed for creative layering and adaptable styling, perfect for summer dressing. Among the collection's standout pieces is a delicate silk scarf crafted using the Sekka Shibori technique, highlighting the collection's dedication to intricate craftsmanship. Additionally, the Tesuji Shibori technique is prominently featured on garments made from sustainable materials such as TENCEL™ Lyocell, underscoring COS' commitment to sustainability.
The women's collection includes dresses with flowing silhouettes, shibori-patterned blouses, and versatile trousers, while the men's collection features tailored coats, casual shirts, and knitwear with unique shibori details. The accessories range includes scarves and bags that echo the shibori patterns.
