Alexandre Mattiussi's brand presented its men's and women's items during Paris Fashion Week with a celebrity-filled front row and models like Karen Elson on the catwalk.

Folding wooden chairs, peeling walls, and a piano. There was no excess at the Ami Paris Fall/Winter 2025 show in Paris, which brought the new creations of creative director Alexandre Mattiussi to the catwalk. Among the man and woman models in the cast, well-known faces like those of Karen Elson and Liya Kebede paraded down the runway in new clothes. Men wore lots of separates, double-breasted jackets, and timeless coats that tell the story of Ami Paris tailoring. Many of the womenswear looks felt like a transposition of the men's collection: They featured suede or checked skirts, shirts with tone-on-tone bandanas, olive-colored tailored vests, and flowing satin dresses.
Elegant, easy-to-wear, and transversal. Alexandre Mathiussi's style remains true to itself, reconfirming the Ami Paris show as an eagerly awaited event of Paris Fashion Week, also beloved by the stars. Among the special guests, in addition to global brand ambassador Whoopi Goldberg, were Lucas Bravo, Catherine Deneuve, Lou Doillon, Choi Woo-shik and Bresh.
The new collection was one that feels easy to codify. Some call it quiet luxury, while others are simply fond of the word "minimalism," particularly the kind of look that dominated in the '90s. One thing is certain, Mathiussi's proposals are axiomatic. They offer a particular certainty for the contemporary wardrobe. They are a key to read of simple elegance, and these garments feel worth embracing and being comforted by, especially as a response to uncertain times.
