On the day Alessandro Michele officially announced his farewell to the Italian fashion house Gucci, we ask ourselves questions about what his new era will be

Thus, the name of Alessandro Michele joins that of Daniel Lee, the visionary former creative director of another Kering Maison, Bottega Veneta.
The Roman designer Alessandro Michele joined Gucci in 2002, when the then creative director Tom Ford noticed him and then immediately invited him to work alongside him. A few years later, in 2006, Michele was promoted to senior designer and in 2011 he became associate director of the new creative director Frida Giannini, becoming her right-hand man until 2015, when Gucci CEO Marco Bizzarri proposed Michele as creative director in place of Giannini.
Up to now, in almost eight years, with his eccentric, intellectual, revolutionary, quotationist, and sometimes authorial imagery, <a href="https://www.lofficielitalia.com/uomo/harry-styles-gucci-hahaha-campagna-autunno-inverno-2022-foto" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Alessandro Michele</a> has literally overturned one of the most famous fashion houses in the entire fashion system. His work and his vision have rewritten the codes of men's and women's fashion, spreading the idea that beauty, in general, does not belong to any gender. Dress codes, as we know, belong to politics, to a society that invites us to respect the rules. Alessandro Michele spreads his very personal alternative. One of his greatest successes is undoubtedly having modeled new male identities. You can be even more masculine by showing your femininity: this is how modern and even more sensual masculinity comes to life. The Michele era has not at all created a new image or simply an aesthetic, it has tried to tell our world by observing it, between the past, present, and future, in all its most meticulous facets.

At the end of the <a href="https://www.lofficielitalia.com/news/chanel-coco-neige-la-nuova-collezione-da-sci-foto-prezzo" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Chanel</a> Haute Couture Spring Summer 2019 show, at the end of the show, alongside the Italian model Vittoria Ceretti we will find Virginie Viard , temporarily appointed by Karl Lagerfeld to take her place. From February 2019 onwards, after the death of the German designer and creative mind of the Chanel Maison since 1985, Viard will officially take her place. In these three years, the French designer has tried to project the well-known French Maison into the future, focusing on heritage and archives. Without too much fanfare, she took the reins of one of the Maisons, an absolute symbol of rupture and revolution, the one launched in the early twentieth century by Coco Chanel. Even Lagerfeld, during his creative direction, nurtured this ideal of female emancipation.
But today we are left with nothing but mysteries in the shadows. But what if Chanel needed a total paradigm shift? Can a vision far removed from the French ideal described in recent years shed new light on this Maison? What if Alessandro Michele was the answer?
