TriNoma Mall was filled to the brim when Skechers Philippines unveiled its newest local ambassador. The brand&rsquo;s latest face is no other than Pia Wurtzbach, the actress, model, former Miss Universe, style muse, and advocate, who believes in never sacrificing comfort over fashion. &ldquo;I don&rsquo;t believe in &lsquo;Tiis Ganda.&rsquo; Nothing beats feeling comfortable and looking great at the same time. Confidence, after all, makes a person stylish,&rdquo; Pia shares.

The event kicked off with a dynamic set by hit band DIONELA, which had the crowd singing along. Then Sam YG hit the stage as the official host of the afternoon. Of course, before the reveal, Sam hyped up guests with his signature charm before Pia was called on stage.

The multihyphenate star walked the runway in the middle of the TriNoma Activity Center looking chic and confident in her Skechers Hands Free Slip-ins. Pia wore a classic Skechers sports bra layered with a blazer and matching Skechers leggings to complete the look with crew socks. The style, a pastel blush pink shade, is the same pair she wore during the commercial shoot in L.A. In the video, Pia is seen in different casual and sporty ensembles &mdash; from a perfect weekend outfit to a chic yoga look. Her Hands Free Slip-ins were the star of each outfit and perfectly complemented her activities for the day. The special TVC was also unveiled at the event and is currently playing at Skechers stores across the country.

&ldquo;Because when you&rsquo;re comfortable, you perform and work better,&rdquo; Pia says during the on-stage interview. This statement was put to the test during the event with some fun and interactive games with the audience. Two activities called &lsquo;SOLE DASH&rsquo; and &lsquo;SOLE IDENTITY&rsquo; were done where lucky guests participated in trying out the Hands Free Slip-ins for themselves. The showcase highlighted how quick and easy it is to wear the style, because of its ergonomic in-sole design and overall silhouette.

The event ended with a special meet-and-greet with Pia&rsquo;s fans who came to support the launch. &ldquo;This is a dream come true for me. When I was young, I would just dream of getting a Skechers pair. Now, I&rsquo;m working with the brand as their ambassador. It&rsquo;s surreal.&rdquo; Pia tells L&rsquo;Officiel. True enough, we couldn&rsquo;t think of a better partnership between a global powerhouse and a local muse.&nbsp;
