Taking a leap forward to &ldquo;shape a new now,&rdquo; the Italian fashion house manifests this mission by visually by turning to science fiction as the main theme that drives the collection.

With hope and optimism for the future, the collection offers alternative twists and turns to long-established fashion tropes&mdash;business, military, evening and sporting&mdash;and offers its own modern, futuristic spin to them, suggesting that today is a time to rebuild and reshape the future differently, in a way that leads to the better.

In this exclusive product editorial with L&rsquo;Officiel Philippines, this reshaping of fashion tradition is seen visibly in the product selection. For one, the F-Heel reimagines the notorious kitten heel by zeroing in on it as the focal point of the shoe, done so daringly by offering a sculptural deviation to the traditionally plump, often awkward low-rise heel.

Meanwhile, the Trifolio Top Handle Bag turns the concept of the classic satchel handbag on itself, taking the structurally classic template&mdash;meant to be one of the most traditional and iconic handbag silhouettes in fashion and Ferragamo history&mdash;and bravely reinterpreting it through almost neon green patent leather material that gives off a blinding metallic sheen.

Meanwhile, Ferragamo&rsquo;s heritage Gancini print experiences a rebirth through a the Gancini Crossbody Bag, made of rubberized calf leather. Fresh from the pattern&rsquo;s 50th anniversary last year, this Ferragamo trademark adds texture to the men&rsquo;s bag as it is subtly embossed onto its surface, as the bag comes together through three sliding pockets that can slip inside one another. In the editorial, the bag is photographed with the Reversable and Adjustable SF Belt, with initials of the fashion house in its signature script serving as the buckle made of palladio and gunmetal finishes.

Photographer Renzo Navarro and set design team Studio Mara leaned into the products&rsquo; futuristic details through the use of mirrors, which served as an aesthetic nod to the collection&rsquo;s sci-fi theme and functionally served to highlight the products at every angle. In each layout, the images paid homage to the colors apparent in the Future Positive campaign as well: electric blue, lavender and green.
