Mango brings Mediterranean character and sustainability to their newest store in Greenbelt 5.

Mango opened their latest store located in Greenbelt 5. Though the existing Mango stores have already-inviting interiors that draw customers towards exploring pieces to add to their wardrobes, there are certain changes that make the new Greenbelt 5 store different from the rest. District Retail Managers for Mango in the Philippines Kelly Santos-Sevilla and Julien Branzuela said, &ldquo;It is our first Mediterranean-inspired store concept in the country.&rdquo;&nbsp;

Mango based the store on the 360 sustainability concept which incorporates economic and environmental values. According to Kelly and Julien, the 360 sustainability concept plays into the new Mango branch by encouraging the collaboration of profitability, durability, timelessness, proximity, eco-efficiency, and, of course, environmental sustainability.&nbsp;

With all these being said, there were definitely fresh ideas that came into play when building the physical store. Mango is an inclusive company, as they create links between cultures that are seen in the style of the store. Kelly and Julien spoke on this, saying, &ldquo;We create links between Mediterranean character and the cultural imagery of the destination.&rdquo; Apart from stylistic choices, keeping the process sustainable was a top priority. They continued, &ldquo;Sustainability and architectural integration are key to this new design, which is why new stores feature elements such as eco-efficient lighting and ventilation, and a design which incorporates sustainable materials such as natural paint. The focus is on local processes and materials that result in a reduced carbon footprint and/or cost optimisation.&rdquo;

The new Mango store completed the project with their customers in mind. There is a feeling attached to entering any Mango store. Kelly and Julien commented on this, &ldquo;In Mango, our objective is to offer memorable experiences to our customers by making sure we are always there for them when needed, offering them the best service in order to improve customer satisfaction. We want our customers to reflect the spirit and freshness of the brand and to be inspired by sharing our passion for Mediterranean style and culture through our New Med stores.&rdquo;
