We look back on our milestones as we look forward to an exciting future with more stories to tell.

When we launched L&rsquo;Officiel Philippines back in March of last year, I&rsquo;ve always believed that this will be a great platform to celebrate creativity. Like any new business &mdash; aside from the challenge of putting our name out, our biggest setback was possibly sustaining another publication within a very saturated digital landscape. Not to mention, the endless conversation about how print is dying. But I was firm in my belief that this magazine would grow &mdash; by forming a community, setting up collaborations, and featuring subjects that are unusual and new to the country.&nbsp;

At a time when the world shares many of the same challenges, it&rsquo;s an inimitable pleasure to discover a new fashion designer with a unique technique, or to find fresh tracks by an independent musician, or to taste the best cuisines in the city, or to dissect the genius of an artist&rsquo;s exhibition. This, more than ever, is the magazine&rsquo;s objective &mdash; to bring our readers to a place of bliss, even for just a brief moment as they turn the page.

This issue marks our first year anniversary, and I feel nothing but pride for what the magazine has accomplished within the span of a year. L&rsquo;Officiel Philippines has brought together a community of readers who are open to discovering a new type of storytelling as well as collectors who are constantly adding our issues into their bookshelves.&nbsp;
While we value the success of featuring the biggest stars in local entertainment including Nadine Lustre, Liza Soberano, and Catriona Gray, to name a few, we also pride ourselves on finding the most current and relevant stories globally, offering our readers exclusive access to these subjects. We caught up with internet sensation Emma Chamberlain and chatted with top model Winnie Harlow. We also got in touch with K-Drama pioneers Ji Chang-wook and Lee Jong-suk whose body of work had stood the test of time and continues to inspire a legion of young actors in South Korea.&nbsp;
And of course, we had the privilege to get closer to global K-pop sensations Mark Tuan, WayV, and the record-breaking BTS. These are unparalleled success stories and collaborations that we are honored to have produced and shared with our readers &mdash; a sustained effort that sets the magazine apart.&nbsp;
From front to back, this issue is no different in keeping the same momentum. Thus, it is only fitting to start with Maine Mendoza. The phenomenal TV personality charms us with her humor and wisdom, traits that allow her to navigate the chaos of showbusiness with finesse. She graces our cover in a colorful mixture of different styles characterized by our fashion editor Loris Pe&ntilde;a. Alongside this story, our junior fashion editor Yanna Lopez interviews ENHYPEN, touted to be K-Pop&rsquo;s next global superstars. The members of ENHYPEN are looking forward to their second anniversary; they&rsquo;ve also acknowledged the driving force behind their achievements &mdash; their fans. This issue is special to the group because it is their first cover feature outside of South Korea and Japan.&nbsp;

For the team at L&rsquo;Officiel Philippines, conversations keep coming back to the idea of bringing global and quality stories. With that, our deputy editor, Tin Dabbay, sits down with Officine Universelle Buly&rsquo;s creative director Ramdane Touhami and London-based Filipino designer Benny Andallo who&rsquo;s quickly getting recognized for his whimsical hat designs.&nbsp;
Also in fashion, local talent runs deep as knitwear designer Ana la O&rsquo; finds creative opportunities in working with her preferred materials regardless of technical limitations. Meanwhile, Nicolas Ghesqui&egrave;re invites us to the grand ball as he goes through his inspirations for Louis Vuitton&rsquo;s recent Spring/Summer collection and his interpretation of its heritage spanning 200 years.&nbsp;
In the world of grooming and self-care, our beauty editor Belle Rodolfo walks us through getting Botox and how the body and skin can benefit from it regardless of one&rsquo;s age. Also, check our shopping guide to get your beauty needs for skincare, makeup, and fragrance as more prestige brands have made their way into the Philippine e-commerce platforms.

Lastly, get inspired by our editorials that provide a plumb line to the fascinations and desires of creative minds. These images were produced locally and internationally by our in-house team and contributors; they remind us that fashion is supposed to be fun and experimental, capturing the best pieces in both ready-to-wear and haute couture.&nbsp;
It was a year with so many bumps in the road.
