V!, known for elegant yet playful designs that adapt to the shifting lifestyles of stylish young adults, strongly champions sustainability. The brand's South Sea pearls are organically sourced from Palawan, showcasing their aim to preserve the seas and protect surrounding environments.
As an advocate for sustainability, Bernardo’s love for beautiful beaches — Palawan, in particular — gives her a deeper appreciation for the pearl. After all, only clean oceans can produce pearls: the pearl is the world’s only living gem and comes from oysters that are natural filter feeders, only growing in clean waters and healthy marine ecosystems.
“Every time I wear [V!], I feel very proud because all their pearls are sourced from the Philippines, specifically in Palawan," Bernardo said. "It represents me being 100% Filipina, and I love that about the brand.”
