Fashion and lifestyle brand JOS has opened a showroom in the penthouse of a Poblacion, Makati building. The studio space, dubbed the JOS apartment, is now the label's official homebase, and aims to serve as a meeting ground for friends, customers, and collaborators.
"In JOS apartment, JOS mundo envisions a home&mdash;open to friends and their respective works and projects, shaping it as we&rsquo;d intended&mdash;a flow and exchange of people, ideas, and creation," shares co-founder Karen Bolilia.
Inspired by archival storytelling and multi-generational practice, JOS is known for negotiating with Filipino artisans to create contemporary footwear, clothing, and other objects, each piece intent on vivifying nostalgia, bridging new-age styles and traditional craftsmanship. The brand's products are handmade in small batches across Philippine cultural sanctuaries, taking samplings and materials from all over the country.

The custom-made bar serves as both the pantry and additional storage space.

The Lambing Belt wrapped around the Medium Basket lays on the bottom left shelf. Books and shells sit beside classic JOS silhouettes like the Fettuccine Platforms and Bayong Slipper to contrast the white walls.

An embroidered tapestry from Ancan, made of handwoven cotton from the Naga tribe of Myanmar, hangs on display. A handpainted shawl from Lumban, Laguna chameleons as a table runner. On a rack to the side, JOS body pieces are displayed for fitting.

JOS body pieces and accessories hang from the ceiling in the showroom. The Parang Bakya in Crazy Horse perches atop a fort made of shoeboxes.

A thrifted vintage rug lies on the studio floor, featuring the Fettuccine Platforms in Maui.
