Last January 4, the Maison unveiled the Louis Vuitton x Murakami pop-up in Singapore to celebrate the most-awaited launch of the <a href="https://www.lofficielph.com/fashion/louis-vuitton-takashi-murakami-re-edition-collaboration" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Louis Vuitton x Takashi Murakami Re-Edition Collab</a>. Hosted in Joo Chiat Place, a UNESCO-recognized precinct well-known for its rich cultural heritage, the Singapore pop-up will be the only activation in Southeast Asia, with other exclusive pop-ups to be hosted in London, Milan, New York City, Seoul, Shanghai, and Tokyo.&nbsp;
The experiential pop-up is designed to immerse its guests in the whimsical Louis Vuitton x Takashi Murakami universe. Beautifully bright and colorful, the charming historic Peranakan shophouse fa&ccedil;ade is decorated with Murakami&rsquo;s iconic 3D Superflat Garden, its smiley flowers, and the Monogram Multicolore, giving guests a glimpse of what they're about to see and explore inside.

The transformed space features four distinct zones&mdash;Retail Space, Cinema, Care Station, and Cafe&mdash;all sprinkled with beautiful motifs from the Louis Vuitton x Murakami collection, offering visitors a grand immersive experience into the Louis Vuitton x Murakami world across retail, dining, and culture.&nbsp;

Retail Space

At the Retail Space, visitors are welcomed to explore the new Louis Vuitton x Murakami Chapter One collection, including the Monogram Multicolore, Superflat Panda, and Superflat Garden. Here, visitors can also look forward to the launch of the Southeast Asia zone-exclusive Louis Vuitton x Murakami Superflat Panda Card Holder which will only be available at the pop-up.

For a more fun and exclusive shopping experience, visitors who purchase any Louis Vuitton x Murakami product at the pop-up will receive a special token at the special vending machine where they can win limited-edition Louis Vuitton x Murakami gifts including stickers, trading cards, and a Takashi Murakami Flower Go Walk portable game.

Cinema

Inviting visitors on an imaginative journey into the past, the Cinema zone features an exhibition of the remastered versions of Takashi Murakami&rsquo;s Superflat Monogram film and Superflat First Love film, released in 2003 and 2009 respectively. As a fan of Japanese animation, Murakami created the Superflat Monogram film and Superflat First Love film as a reinterpretation of the story of Alice in Wonderland, carrying the classic tale into the charming world of Louis Vuitton. At the Cinema zone, visitors can follow the story of a young heroine named Aya, who gets transported into a journey travelling into the magical land of the Monogram Multicolore, where she&rsquo;s joined by Panda, Flower Hat Man, and Onion Head&mdash;imaginary characters dreamt up by Takashi Murakami for the Maison&rsquo;s Spring-Summer 2003 show.&nbsp;

Care Station

At the Care Station, guests can have their Louis Vuitton x Murakami products from the original archival collections cleaned and repaired. In the Maison&rsquo;s commitment to sustainability and longevity across generations, Louis Vuitton artisans will be offering services such as replacement parts, canvas and metal cleaning, as well as paint care at the designated care and repair service space, which guests can also watch real-time.

Caf&eacute;

After a day of exploring the world of Louis Vuitton x Murakami and enjoying curated activities from the pop-up, guests can head to the charming pink Caf&eacute; decorated with Murakami flower cushions, where they can enjoy a curated selection of delicious beverages from sweet coffee lattes to refreshing lemonades, all served in a biodegradable Louis Vuitton x Murakami Superflat Panda cup. And along every purchase of a beverage from the Caf&eacute;, guests will receive a complimentary cookie inspired by Murakami&rsquo;s iconic Superflat Garden smiley flower.&nbsp;
