The new&nbsp;Sex and the City series follows Carrie, Miranda, and Charlotte in their next chapter of life.&nbsp;

If you were a devoted fan of <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/sarah-jessica-parker-sex-and-the-city-revival-and-just-like-that-script-instagram" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Sarah Jessica Parker&rsquo;s Sex and the City</a>, it is time for you to freak out &mdash; fashionably, of course.
Set to hit HBO Max as a limited series on December 9,<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/leaked-script-sex-and-the-city-reboot-hbo-max-carrie-big-split" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> And Just Like That</a> sees almost all original cast members (including Chris Noth&rsquo;s Mr. Big) reprise their roles. Though it must be mentioned that Kim Catrall will not be returning as her character Samantha Jones, her absence only illustrates the natural coming and going of relationships throughout different stages of our lives, HBO Max Chief Content Officer Casey Bloys explained.
Despite Samantha&rsquo;s absence, the highly anticipated series is to expected to see plenty of excitement and romance for <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/sarah-jessica-parker-favorite-sex-and-the-city-fashion" target="_blank" rel="noopener">New York City's most fashionable friend group.</a>

Though original <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/emily-in-paris-netflix-online-store-season-2" target="_blank" rel="noopener">costume director Patricia Field</a> will not be returning to dress SJP due to a scheduling conflict with her work on Darren Star's other fashion-focused series <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/emily-in-paris-netflix-online-store-season-2" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Emily in Paris</a>, the stylishly brilliant Molly Rogers will be taking the helm.
&ldquo;I wasn&rsquo;t able to be in New York doing that and be in Paris doing <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/everything-we-know-about-emily-in-paris-season-2-lily-collins-netflix-release" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Emily in Paris</a>,&rdquo; <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/patricia-field-sex-and-the-city-reboot" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Field</a> said of her decision. &ldquo;But I told them to call my very dear friend Molly Rogers&hellip;she did Sex and the City with me from start to finish. She knew it well, so she&rsquo;s doing it.&rdquo;
In addition to a new (but equally as magical) set of costumes, the limited series intends to address everything from the coronavirus pandemic to racial diversity. With a set of fresh new faces joining the cast, the show aims to reflect the vibrancy of the people who make up New York City today.
