Alta Moda returns to the countryside of Sicily - the place where Domenico Dolce began his journey to build his own empire.

Alta Moda is a unique Italian Haute Couture show held annually by the fashion house Dolce &amp; Gabbana. As usual, every year the French fashion house takes the world on an excursion to enchanting places, and this year Sicily - the homeland of Domenico Dolce, will be their stop.

Since 2012, Dolce &amp; Gabbana&#39;s magnificent designs in the haute couture world have attracted more than 100 special guests. To date, that number has risen to 750 people. So what has attracted fashion fans so much? &quot;This isn&#39;t just a mindless dress - It&#39;s a lifestyle,&quot; shared designer Dolce. And because only when you are in the world of Alta Moda will you always be the main character in your own movie. It is a stage re-enactment of classical Italian opera by composer Pietro Mascagni called Cavalleria rusticana, held in the historic Piazza del Duomo in Ortigia. Opening up a fanciful scene, the intersection of contemporary and classic, 106 designs appear one after another to create a tone of dramatic beauty. The collection tells the story of the ancient Sicilian woman through the delicate hands of skilled Italian artisans. Designs evoke traditional beauty through seductive blacks, intricately hand-painted and beaded lace gauges. The similarity between Cavalleria rusticana and the brand is probably due to the story of faith, sincerity, family, Sicily and even the mysterious black color. The color gamut recalls the brand&#39;s early days, introducing new black designs from a somewhat formal Sicilian woman&#39;s suit. It&#39;s newer, sexier, and more brilliant. And in the previous Alta Moda collection, the fashion house revived the brand&#39;s DNA image.

Just like that, black is present in each design, dotted with a few fresh patches of yellow, blue, pink, red or orange. Like a gold embroidered blazer with crystals and flowers or a pastel pink midi dress shining on the catwalk. Not stopping there, the material game once again makes the devotees fall in love with designs from 3D fabric rolls through the most advanced techniques or handmade embroidered lace from skilled artisans. Soft silk fabrics spread across the catwalk in dramatic and metallic, gold-plated Fabergé egg-shaped outfits that reflect light, creating a gloss that attracts all eyes. Finally, a red silk taffeta gown closed the show.

The focus throughout the collection is probably the repeating mysterious black veil and the image of the contemporary bride with the wedding dress, the flowers come to life through the floating, lavish three-dimensional floral print technique. In the first looks, viewers will be immersed in extreme shapes, simulating angel wings or motifs inspired by sculptural lines on baroque stone in pure white. Then there was a performance of handmade lace midi skirt designs or softness expressed through a pleated chiffon skirt to create a sense of lightness and flexibility. The 380 flowers are delicately and vividly reproduced and the large petal-like robe can embrace the wearer but still be soft and have a certain amount of drape.

This accessory is inspired by the Roman Catholic Church through necklaces, earrings and glittering crucifix details. The shoes and gloves are mostly the same materials and decorative motifs, painting a vibrant picture and mysterious charm.

Breaking away from signature prints or fresh, vibrant color palettes inspired by the Mediterranean, two fashion houses have created outstanding masterpieces that bring a distinct transformation in the 10th anniversary collection. the splendor of Dolce &amp; Gabbana. Since leaving the annual schedule of Paris Haute Couture Week, Alta Moda has continued and they have begun to write the pages of their own history.
