Keeping it real every step of the way,&rdquo; she wrote in one Instagram post after a pre-pageant closed-door interview.

This Barong-inspired bustier by Jot Losa definitely proved how traditional Filipino wear can be remade in more ways than one. Manalo then paired it with flattering flared trousers that added a lot of length to her look.

Winning in White

Of course, who can forget her crowning Miss Universe Philippines look? The opulent ensemble was made by her go-to designer Manny Halasan and matched the queen&rsquo;s bubbly yet regal personality. With its embellished bodice and feathery sash and train, it was a jaw-dropping and elegant choice that made Manalo stand out during the final Q&amp;A round.

Manalo paid tribute to the Miss Universe host country Mexico with this flirty red frock with waterfall ruffles and a thigh-high slit from Anthony Ramirez. This Francis Liberian frock proves how the beauty queen favors feathers and volume at the skirt. This modern &ldquo;princess-like&rdquo; gown may have just been for a send off photoshoot, but it still proves how Manalo has the grace and poise to carry such a lavish creation.

Seas the Moment

This Tiffany blue gown by Manny Halasan was supposed to be Manalo&rsquo;s final evening look for the competition. But despite not making it to that round of the pageant, her team unveiled the ensemble on Instagram with a quote from the designer saying, &ldquo;She comes in with a soft armor covered in ostrich feathers ready to unleash what she is authentically made of.... simple yet strong, subtle but remarkable.&rdquo;
True enough, it would have been awe-striking to have seen her walk on stage with this creation as it seems like a remix yet also a more contemporary version of her white Miss Universe Philippines winning look.
