It's 7:30 pm in Seoul when we finally take Michelle Dee and BJ Pascual out to shoot. The sun has just set, and the dusty blue dusk has given way to the South Korean capital's evening bustle &mdash; it's Saturday, on a clear, cool spring weekend in April, and the night is young.

Standing on the top floor of a multi-storey open parking lot in the Yongsan district, Michelle poses, tall and statuesque, a strong opening to the very first of several layouts. She's wearing a broad-shouldered black coat from the just-released Rokh H&amp;M line. It's a visual contrast to her second outfit, a strapless beige corset top paired with wide trousers, but the two looks are (quite literally) tied together with a set of layered twin belts, a collection signature.

BJ joins her for the third layout, under a glaring spotlight perched on the crest of a tunnel. It's a rather dramatic setting; someone yells "telenovela!" and elicits giggles from both the Philippine and Korean teams. BJ wears a short trench over a pleated skirt while Michelle stuns in a figure-skimming black dress with a row of detachable hook-and-eye clasps dotting its hem. As they pose together, BJ and Michelle playfully discuss their ship name. After a lengthy back and forth, they're unable to choose just one. "Let the internet decide," Michelle declares, grinning. And it has: online, the duo has been dubbed #DeeJ (arguably the most clever among a slew of other monikers).

BJ starts his solo cuts in a cropped button-up sweater bearing Rokh's signature plaid, styled casually with jeans and a logo-splashed PVC tote bag from the collection. "This is a workout," he laughs, as the photographer has him go up and down a flight of subway steps and then a makeshift staircase built in the middle of a storage lot.

The final location is the one everyone's looking forward to the most. We're led up to the peak of a footbridge overlooking the Han River, where BJ stands in a cinched trouser suit. The sweeping view behind him, of the city's countless bridges criss-crossing over mirrorlike water, blurs into the darkness of his clothes, framing him in a halo of moody light. He leans against the metal banisters, furrowing a brow into the camera, and then it's a wrap.

It's around ten minutes to midnight by the time we finish. Everyone is in high spirits, discussing late dinner plans in a flurried trio of languages while packing up equipment. As we prepare to leave, the digital clock in our shoot bus strikes 00:00 &mdash; perhaps a nod from the other side to Rokh's signature numbers, a testament to the designer's concept of seasonality, we take it as a sign of good luck.
