Pulse-pounding beats, an electrified crowd, and the exhilarating thrill of water-splashing madness &mdash; Waterbomb Manila is finally making its grand debut! This February 22-23, the iconic Quirino Grandstand will transform into a high-energy oasis of music, water fights, and unforgettable performances.
Bringing the ultimate fusion of music and mayhem, Waterbomb Manila promises two days of non-stop excitement, featuring a star-studded lineup of K-Pop, K-Hip Hop, EDM artists, and local Filipino performers. Festival-goers can expect an adrenaline-fueled experience as they dance to electrifying sets while drenched in refreshing water bursts, turning the heat up right before summer hits.
Since its inception in 2015, the Waterbomb Festival has been a staple of South Korea&rsquo;s summer scene. At the heart of the action, attendees are divided into two competing teams&mdash;Blue and Yellow &mdash; battling it out in epic water fights before a champion is crowned at the end of the event.
Over the years, the festival has gained worldwide recognition, expanding beyond South Korea to make waves in the U.S., Japan, and Thailand. Now, for the first time ever, the Philippines gets to join the spectacle. With its exhilarating water battles and electrifying party atmosphere, Waterbomb Manila is set to be an unmissable event that will redefine summer fun in the city.
Here are the artists to look forward to in Waterbomb Manila:
<h3 style="text-align: center;">Saturday (February 22)</h3>

Epik High

Headlining the first day of Waterbomb Manila is the influential, old-school K-Hip Hop trio, Epik High. Debuted in 2003, this trio consists of Tablo, Mithra Jin, and DJ Tukutz. Some of their hits include Fly, Umbrella, Born Hater and Can You Hear My Heart, an OST from the known series Moonlovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo.

DynamicDuo

Joining Epik High in fronting the Saturday lineup is the iconic K-Hip Hop duo, DynamicDuo, who are made up of rappers Choiza and Gaeko. This duo is behind the viral TikTok hits AEAO and Smoke ft. Lee Youngji, popularized by the dance competition, Street Woman Fighter 2.

Kim Jong Kook

Kim Jong-kook, widely recognized as an entertainer and TV personality for the variety show Running Man, will also take the Waterbomb stage to perform. He first gained fame as part of a dance-oriented group, Turbo, and after its disbandment, he pursued a solo career and made hits, like One Man and Lovable. He is known to have a unique and high-pitched voice that swoons the crowd.

Chanyeol

Chanyeol is back again for Waterbomb, but this time, in Manila! Chanyeol is a South Korean artist known for being a member of the legendary K-Pop group EXO and its sub-unit EXO-SC, who performed in Waterbomb Tokyo in 2023. The artist is currently pursuing his solo career as he just concluded his live tour City-scape last weekend.

Baekho

Korean singer-songwriter Baekho is also set to turn the stage up, having performed Waterbomb 2024&rsquo;s theme song Wet &amp; Wild. He has also been a recurring performer for the festival since last year, having some special moments, including his fiery performance of Nutty Nutty with Jessi.

Adding more spice to the party is MAMAMOO&rsquo;s Hwasa, one of the most anticipated performers due to her powerhouse vocals and charismatic stage presence. Her performance of Tyla&rsquo;s Water at Waterbomb Seoul 2024 quickly became viral and garnered global attention. She&rsquo;s also behind the hit songs Maria and Chili.

B.I, also known as Hanbin, is a South Korean rapper and producer who is no stranger to performing in Manila. After his Waterbomb debut last 2024 in Daegu, he&rsquo;s now preparing to bring more fire to the Manila leg with his hits, like Dare to Love, Flame, Die for Love and Beautiful Life.

Kwon Eun Bi

The &lsquo;Waterbomb Queen&rsquo; Kwon Eun Bi is also poised to make an appearance at the Manila stage. The singer and actress earned this title due to her mesmerizing performance in Waterbomb Seoul 2023 which gained traction of views online. Her addictive songs, including Underwater and Door, paired with sultry choreographies, have captivated the audience, leaving the festival to invite her more.

Lee Chae Yeon

Lee Chae Yeon is a singer and dancer from South Korea who&rsquo;s gearing up to make a knock-down performance at Waterbomb Manila . She was first seen from the beloved K-Pop girl group, I*ZONE, together with Kwon Eun-bi, and she&rsquo;s also the sister of ITZY&rsquo;s Chaeryeong. Her music often includes high-energy beats, like Hush Rush and Knock, that let her show her dance prowess.

STAYC is a six-member K-Pop girl group, consisting of members Sumin, Sieun, Isa, Seeun, Yoon, and J. Their name stands for &lsquo;Star to a Young Culture&rsquo; which reflects their youthful discography that exudes a playful, teen-like feeling.&nbsp; Distinguished by their catchy melodies, upbeat rhythms and energetic choreography, they've released universal bops, like ASAP, Stereotype and RUN2U.

Raiden

Raiden is a South Korean DJ and record producer signed under SM Entertainment. From studying guitar and being a rocker in Japan, he&rsquo;s now turning tables and producing hits with artists&rsquo; like Girls&rsquo; Generation Yuri, Red Velvet's Irene and EXO&rsquo;s Chanyeol.

ZB &amp; Ation

Electrifying musical performances are what ZB and Ation have made a name for themselves in the Korean EDM scene. They are both South Korean DJs and producers who have worked for different artists, such as Jeewon of Cignature with their track Eternal Time. They have performed in many Waterbomb Festivals in Korea since 2024.

DJ Roots

DJ Roots is a professional DJ from Korea known for being versatile as he plays around a wide range of genres, from hip-hop to bass music. He started his career with underground clubs. But after quickly gaining attention, he&rsquo;s now playing at the main club scenes of the country, such as OCTAGON, MASS, ARENA &amp; CAKESHOP.

J.E.B.

J.E.B., a.ka. Johann Electric Bach, is a DJ and producer who&rsquo;s recognized for remixing K-Pop with EDM elements. He has received popularity due to his unconventional and kitsch mash-ups and remixes, particularly his works with tracks from K-Pop powerhouse NCT.

IMLAY is also a South Korean DJ and producer who is affiliated with SM Entertainment and its sub-label ScreaM Record. He debuted with his single entitled Gaze in 2015, but he mostly works on producing and composing music for huge artists, such as Shinee&rsquo;s Jonghyun, Minho and Key.

Apro&nbsp;&nbsp;

Apro is a dancer-turned-producer (where his name came from), who first debuted as a member of the duo Basterd in 2014. But now, he&rsquo;s currently a producer whose aim is to refine this role, believing that artists can produce art not only in forms of music, but anything that inspires them.

<h3 style="text-align: center;">Sunday (February 23)</h3>

Jessi is one of the OGs of the Waterbomb Festival as she has been performing for the event since 2016. She is a Korean-American rapper who has become one of the most sought-after performers due to her signature raspy voice and powerful presence, as seen in her famous tracks Nunu Nana, Zoom, and Cold Blooded. She&rsquo;s also set to headline the Sunday stage of the festival.

Bringing extra sizzle to the festival is singer and songwriter Sunmi, a seasoned Waterbomb performer. She was a former member of the world-renowned K-Pop girl group Wonder Girls, and later on had a successful solo career, debuting with her number-one hit, Gashina. She is also recognized for her distinct musical style and bold performances, especially for her songs Heroin, Tail and&nbsp; Siren.

Hyolyn

Hyolyn is also one of the staple performers of the festival being the summer queen. With her soulful vocals and tantalizing dance moves, she has been one of the highlights, especially performing her iconic songs Dally and Sea See to the stage. She was also part of the famed girl group Sistar who is famous for the songs Touch My Body, Shake It and Loving U.

Adding more vibrance to the party is South Korean singer-songwriter and producer, Gray. A household name in the K-RNB &amp; K-Hip Hop scene, Gray has worked and collaborated with some&nbsp; Korean top artists, such as Jay Park, Crush and Loco. Some of his notable songs include TMI, Make Love and Late Night.

Bambam

Fresh off from the promotions of&nbsp; his group&rsquo;s new comeback, Bambam is now preparing to ablaze Waterbomb Manila. This Thai-born artist is known for being a rapper and singer from the talented global K-Pop boy group GOT7. His solo discography includes his debut Who Are You with Red Velvet Seulgi, riBBon and LAST PARADE.

SKULL &amp; HAHA

Skull and HAHA (also part of the Running Man cast), now known as RGP, is a South Korean duo who blend reggae and hip hop music, making it a fit for the vibe of the festival. With their hits Don&rsquo;t Laugh, Love Inside and ONE LOVE, they are ready to make the festival-goers dance and groove through the beats. They have been performing for Waterbomb since 2017.

OH MY GIRL

Making the celebration even more bright and exciting is the trendsetter K-Pop group, Oh My Girl, consisting of six members: Hyojung, Mimi, YooA, Seunghee, Yubin and Arin. Their feel-good and tropical-infused songs, like Nonstop, Dolphin and Dun Dun Dance, just feels right with the thrilling water battles.

Kang Daniel

Kang Daniel is a multi-hyphenated Korean star, being a singer-songwriter, actor, host and businessman. But his first appearance is on the second season of the show Produce 101 which skyrocketed his career due to him claiming the first place. With his thriving solo career now, he has released hits, such as Paranoia, Waves and Who U Are.

Reddy is a South Korean rapper and singer who is popular for his smooth and mellow yet refined rap style which was shown from his appearance on the TV rap competition Show Me the Money. He debuted his first single Capt. Reddy in 2011, and later released songs like Think featuring Jay Park, Ocean View, Peach, and My Lite.

Another group to look forward to is girl group VIVIZ, formed of former GFriend members Eunha, SinB, and Umji. The group&rsquo;s name is short for&ldquo;Vivid dayZ&rdquo; which comes from the idea of vivid and intense days. According to their agency, BPM Entertainment, this is the definition of them, becoming artists who bravely show their own colors. Maniac, BOP BOP! and Shhh! are only some of their songs, and they have been performing for Waterbomb since 2023.

Yang Se Chan

Yang Se-chan is the third cast member of the show Running Man who will be performing in Waterbomb Manila. This comedian and TV personality is also a singer who released an album in 2008 entitled &ldquo;Only One&rdquo;.

Sulreggae

Sulreggae is a South Korean duo from Quan Entertainment, consisting of members Shim and Hyangs who debuted in 2020. Both members are also a part of the group RBZ or Reggae Boyz whom HAHA is also a part of. Their music blends reggae and hip hop, bringing a laid-back yet dynamic feeling to the crowd.

U-Kwon

Vocalist and dancer U-Kwon is also joining the Sunday lineup, infusing more heat to the stage. He is known first as a member of the K-Pop group Block B and its sub-units Bastarz and T2u. He&rsquo;s now working solo and has released songs, including Fuego, Rise Up and Tough Love.

Insidecore

Riding on the second wave also is Insidecore, a Korean duo with members MJ and Vogojay. This group has also been performing for Waterbomb ever since its inception, and have created the Waterbomb theme in 2016 entitled Blue Dolphin. They are recognized for performing electro house music and they have been featured at clubs and electronica festivals.&nbsp;

Aster &amp; Neo

Aster and Neo are both renowned South Korean DJs who are widely recognized in their work at the EDM scene in the country. Aster has been a favorite among Korean EDM fans due to his distinctive sound of combining electronic and dance beats that gets the crowd moving. Meanwhile, Neo is known for being a veteran DJ who combines various musical genres into flawless music. Together, they have a Youtube channel called ASTER MUSIC that has more than 400,000 subscribers.

Siena Girls

Siena Girls is a dynamic Korean group of entertainers led by DJ Siena. Their performances often involve a blend of eclectic music and dance routines.
