On September 16, The Spirits Library hosted an exclusive event to kick off Negroni Week, featuring none other than bartending legend Luca Picchi. The exclusive launch, "The Spirits Library Presents: Exclusive Negroni Week Launch Event with Bartending Legend Luca Picchi," paid tribute to the home of the iconic cocktail with an elegant setup featuring classic Negroni-inspired decor and a masterclass led by Picchi himself. Attendees included local industry insiders and cocktail enthusiasts.

The highlight of the night? A masterclass with Luca Picchi&mdash;an absolute legend in the world of mixology, especially when it comes to Negronis. Known globally for his deep knowledge of the Negroni&rsquo;s history and craft, Picchi shared his knowledge and expertise with the crowd&mdash;from the intricate process behind the Negroni, as well as offering insights into what makes this cocktail timeless&mdash;during the masterclass. It was his first time in the Philippines, making the night all the more special for attendees.
After the masterclass, the vibe shifted to a laid-back Aperitivo session. Guests mingled with Luca, sipped on a variety of Negronis (both the classics and some fun modern twists), and enjoyed the perfect blend of cocktails and conversation. The Spirits Library team showed off their skills behind the bar, keeping the drinks flowing and everything relaxed.

Negroni Week officially ran from September 16 to September 22, but this event set the tone for a week of celebrations. It was a great night of good drinks, good company, and a whole lot of love for a cocktail that&rsquo;s been around for over 100 years.
