Marking the launch of Don Julio 1942 Tequila in Manila was a celebration that highlighted a story of deep devotion and craftsmanship found in the details. The brand gracefully transformed the renowned Blackbird at the Nielson Tower in Makati City into a sanctuary of luxurious experiences, with each area of the historic structure curated to highlight craftsmanship in its many forms.

Guests were introduced to the complexity of the flavor of tequila through three dedicated bars set up around the venue. The first was an invitation to immerse in Don Julio tequila through robust cocktail created by the first female winner of World Class Philippines Bartender of the Year, Aly Lorenzo. The bar featured vinyl DJ sets by Badkiss featuring a sound&nbsp; experience by Filipino-produced bespoke sound system Fatima Sound Practice.

The second bar highlighted the taste of Don Julio 1942. Guests could enjoy Don Julio 1942 either neat or in finely crafted cocktails by Diageo Philippines Brand Ambassador Rian Asiddao, while the third bar was the venue for exclusive mentoring sessions that guests could sign up for led by Global Brand Ambassador of Tequila Don Julio, Karina Sanchez.
