The Body Is Home: Explore Fifth Wall Fest 2024
Fifth Wall will hold its annual festival at LVN’s iconic set this year, featuring local and international performances.
Celebrating art and movement, the Fifth Wall Festival will run from October 19-20, 2024, at the iconic set of LVN’s first film Giliw Ko (1939) at 35 Broadway Ave. Cor. 9th St., New Manila, Quezon City.
Since its first virtual launch during the pandemic, the Fifth Wall has been an avenue for creativity and expression for a diverse range of arts. From featuring dance films online, they have developed their platform to cater to a wide variety of multidisciplinary forms, artists, and audiences.
This year’s Fifth Wall is entitled Edition V: The Body Is Home. Stepping into the structure that first shaped the history and culture of Philippine cinema, the festival will house an immersive and interactive experience that will leave the audience exposed to remarkable artistic culture. This entails exclusive performances, art installations, films, workshops, and world premieres, such as Apa Agbayani’s Abutan Man Tayo ng House Lights (2023), which debuted at NewFest 35 in New York.
