The beauty brand unveiled its most innovative haircare products yet.

Having healthy hair is less common than you think. <a href="https://www.lofficielph.com/beauty/dove-hair-damage-among-filipinas" target="_blank" rel="noopener">In a recent study conducted by Dove</a>, surveying 1701 Fiipinas, hair damage is prevalent and it&rsquo;s been revealed that 91 percent of Filipinas suffer from some kind of hair damage. Whether that&rsquo;s through blow-drying hair on the daily, coloring it on a regular basis, or even just stepping out in the sun and exposing it to pollution.
That&rsquo;s why at Dove Care Labs held at Whitespace Manila, Dove Experts gathered all the Dove girls in the city for the launch of four new revolutionary haircare products that were specifically made to address all the hair damage concerns of Filipinas.

Knowing Your Hair From the Inside Out

Before the grand reveal, Dove&rsquo;s Assistant Brand Manager Maia Coronel talked about the importance of caring for one&rsquo;s hair from root to tip&mdash;emphasizing that scalp and follicle care should be treated equally. This introduction was then followed by an insightful spiel by the brand's Anna Tongco, Research and Development Scientist,&nbsp;about the main causes of hair damage and how we should treat our hair much like how we pamper our skin.

Guests were then taken through an LED tunnel where people were given a multi-sensorial experience through striking video and audio footage of what our hair goes through on a daily basis&mdash;from waking up, to styling, going to work, and the process of decompressing at the end of the day. The footage was thought-provoking and really stroke a chord amongst the crowd when it came to discovering how simple activities can cause significant hair damage. After the reel, the curtain was pulled to reveal the grand Dove installation in the middle of the room featuring four new haircare solutions all created with Dove Bio-Protein Care.

But what is Dove Bio-Protein Care? Developed with biomimetic technology, Bio-Protein works to repair and restore hair&rsquo;s natural brilliance and strength from within and not just surface-level follicle damage. This means healthier, smoother, and more beautiful hair over time with continued use, and helps prevent further damage as well.
The four variants of the new range are Ceramide Intense Repair, Bio-Keratin Straight and Silky, Biotin Hairfall Rescue, and Restorative Oil Nourishing Care. Each created to target a specific hair concern and solve it from the inside out. You have Ceramide Intense Repair for brittle hair that suffers from breakage, Bio Keratin Straight and Silky to address damage cause by excessive heat styling and humidity, Biotin Hairfal Rescue to obviously solve hairfall in all forms&mdash;be it breakage or simply to strengthen weak hair, then lastly there&rsquo;s the Restorative Oil Nourishing Care for dry and rough hair as a result of over styling.

But Dove went above and beyond just showing off their new products. At Dove Care Labs guests were given the VIP treatment that comprised of a free hair assessment session, a luxe hair washing station, and a pop-up hair styling salon. The first stop was the hair assessment nook where a Dove haircare specialist would assess your hair strands with a tiny mobile-like device that showed how healthy or damaged your hair is. The result of the assessment would then be written down and shown to the hair washing station so the right shampoo and conditioner would be used on one&rsquo;s hair. This is then followed by a special styling sesh where guests were pampered with the best styling tools so they can come home looking fresh and flaunting their best hair ever.
